Jacksonville — Episode 1

Not a
dating app.

A night out
with intention.

Real people. Real connections. Almost.

1
7:00 PM — The House
The room opens.
15–20 people. A private space. Bring something that represents you — a dish, a drink, anything. Music already playing. Come with a date, come solo, come with a friend. The night is open. Not chaotic. Open.
2
8:30 PM — The Shift
Honesty before we move.
Before the group moves — if something shifted honestly in the room, this is the moment. No pressure. No performance. Almost isn't for the connection you're trying to protect. It's for the one you haven't found yet.
3
9:00 PM — The Date
The group moves together.
We Uber together. Drink freely — the ride is handled. You arrive somewhere with energy nobody else there has. The night opens beyond the room. The wristband travels with you. The date you came with isn't the only interesting person here — and that's okay to notice.
4
12:00 AM — The Alarm
While you're still there.
Your phone buzzes. The Love Alarm is open. One name. Submitted privately. The person you came with. Someone you talked to for twenty minutes. Someone you're still thinking about. Results arrive the next morning.
5
1:30 AM — The Drift
The night ends itself.
The night ends. Uber back to get your car — or go back home if you didn't drive. Some people linger. Some leave together. Some leave alone, clearer than they've felt in months. No forced ending. Whatever happened — happened honestly.
The real thing

Not an event.
A room that works.

Every application is read personally. The people in the room were chosen because of what they actually wrote — not a curated version of themselves.

The night only works if everyone who said yes actually shows up as themselves.

01
Show up.
You were chosen over people still on the waitlist. A no-show affects the whole room. If something comes up, message us and we'll find someone.
02
The night is open.
You might come with someone and leave feeling something for someone else. That's not wrong. Nobody is locked to anyone. Handle it like an adult.
03
What happens at Almost.
Don't post other people's faces without asking. Don't share the address publicly. The privacy of the room is what makes it safe enough to be real.
04
No performing.
You don't have to be on. The best things that happen at Almost happen in quiet corners between two people who stopped trying.

At midnight.
One name.

Submitted privately. Results arrive the next morning — not that night. The anticipation is part of it. If it's mutual —

it rang.
